THE PENANCE (For 28 years)

This is the second part (Part B), I am posting in the memory of Mother's Day

"A TRIP TO MATA VAISHNAVI DEVI”

The school going children
were grown up as two men
settling nicely well to-do them
with their families I started to pen
recalling our dream for your glimpse
O Mother Divine, the mother of all gen.

Becoming free from
"A PENANCE of 28 Years"

The plan was set fulfilling
dream what seen in d' past
willing to seek holy blessings
of thee, my sweet Divine Mother
with my faithful, caring and loving
better half, unbelievable life partner.

Just to seek thy blessings
with no further wastage of
time any more, a quick n fast
decision was made well in haste
and a trip for KATRA was well set on
30th April, fifth Saturday of d' month last.

Wishing for a glimpse of thy feet
releasing our duties aside for while
keeping in tune d' business & me free
we pursued on our journey of 450 miles
with my dear son, wife and me all, d' three
as d' daughter-in-law was in Kanpur, not free.

The peaceful journey of 22461,
Shree Shakti Exp. having no frown
passing through beautiful nature and
seven tunnels took us JAMMU at dawn
ten deep, darken & amazing hilly tunnels
giving intense pleasure with greenery lawn
we arrived KATRA in the morning as our plan.

Between d' hills beautifully build
we checked in Hotel Mount View
what a pleasant look was outside
a joyous feelings with nice hilly view
from room no. 201 giving an immense
pleasure after A PENANCE what was due.

Resting in hotel we took a sleep
after breakfast breathing in deep
& by evening having taken our bath
around 7:00 we came out on d' street
for the aimed journey of 14 km. on feet
just on walking d' hilly path n sloppy steep.

Getting the traveller's token pass
all we reached Banganga in haste
to pass through deep CRPF security
an intense check post at 2 - Km. walk
after deep screening through x-ray and
manual check we're on steep sloppy path.

Kissing the task climbing on hill
a long way of 14Km.was only will
except a "PALKEE" or a pony on pay
no means were available on that way
sloppy mountainous road was all tease
faith and enthusiasm make d task an ease.

Unsupportive surrendering feet
were non cooperative any more
but the strong aspiration to have
glimpse of your feet was an allure
a loud parlance of "JAI MATA DEE"
was audible in praise of Mother's door.

A loud call for "JAI MATA DEE"
from all corners in praise of thee
boosting a zeal to every he or she
made the path so smooth and free
that despite d' pain in both the knee
we reached Ardhkumari in hours three.

We got registered at 10:15 pm
in group 593 allotted for d' view
a group consists of 50 applicants
means about 12,400 in that queue
finishing dinner we proceed further
as our time expected for next day due.

After a walk of three hours
on hilly sloppy path so steep
our body was hardly supporting
and we were willing to have a sleep
but thy glimpse was calling earnestly
so, we didn't decided for any more leap.

Proceed upwards at 23:55 to Bhawan
for another 6 km. walk via Kotidwar hill
calling "Jai Mata Dee" was only Mantra to
boost them all for inner enthusiasm and zeal
we landed at about 3:00 am at the door step of
MATA VAISHNAVI DEVI without any tiresome feel.

What a pleasant experience we had
reaching at Your door step O Mother
it was an unimaginable satisfaction
& feeling at your feet O Divine Mother
a dream became true for the glimpse
of Thy beautiful face O dear Holy Mother.

The sight of thy feet has given
us a touchy & immense pleasure
it automatically filled up my heart
with desired an uncountable treasure
sitting in thy lap of holy temple what the
peace I felt in my heart that can't measure.

Seeking your blessings we proceeded
upwards to Bhairav Nath for 2 km next
on more tiresome steep sloppy hilly path
& it took an hour to reach without any rest
by 9:30 in morning completing both darshan
taking breakfast and rest we returned via chest*

The chest of the journey is Sanji Chhat*
a known helipads, helicopters landing at
returning downwards was never so tough
& it took 3 hours to Ardhkumari to reach at
d' most steep slopes we saw via Hathimatha
I never suggest anybody to ride upward via that

Ardhkumari, the main charming spot
of this whole journey was just at hand
it was 2:15pm, time to lunch so we had,
rested ourselves for waiting on bare land
resting there about 12 hours, we listen the
announcement for group 590 through bang.

We hurriedly joined the queue at 2:15 am
& waited for our turn to visit the Garbhjoon
d' main exciting charm of the whole journey
was to have a sense of feeling of God's boon
about those nine months we had the dreadful
moments what we spent in our Mother's womb.

For an hour later we're on the verge
of the main cave known as Garbhjoon,
d' literally means a zone of mom's womb
such a narrow tilting and adventurous zone
creeping inside has really given the sense of
feelings that how fearful period was that nine
months we ever had spent in our mom's womb.

Closing of journey really gave a joy
as a child gets an immense pleasure
to have his most demanded lovely toy
or after a long gap of 20 yrs the mother
(Since my mother died on 8thJul.1996)
lost was seen to an orphanage poor boy.

Returning back from Ardhkumari took only
two hours as downwards walk was too easy
we came back at 6:00 in the morning on 3rd
at Banganga, d' check post was ever so busy
Thus, it was all about our long awaited journey
last about 36 hours, reaching hotel became lazy.
